I am writing to thank you, Sweety, Amit, Vansh, and Balkar for the outstanding tour services all of you provided to me and my sister Eve. We had a wonderful time on our trip, and it was made especially enjoyable by everyone connected with Divine Voyages. Sweety, Amit and Vansh were deeply knowledgeable about all of the sites and cities we visited and about the history and culture of India. Perhaps most important, the three guides and Balkar made us feel that we were traveling with good friends. They all looked out for us to make sure we had the most exciting adventure we could have. Balkar, with his kindness and generosity, became like a brother. I must have tried their patience with my inability to resist the street vendors, but they never lost their good humor and charm.
I don't have an email address for Sweety or Balkar, and so I ask you to pass on to them our deep gratitude.

OUR TRIP TO KERALA FOR 10 DAYS,
We had above tour in April, first all the family thought that its Summer months, and it will be very hot, but after few internets, we came along Prabhu Kumar, of his address is as under. Firstly after begging him, he never took any upfront money as deposit from us, as we only paid on the way. After reaching Mumbai, our transport was waiting for us say it was pass midnight, as we arrived from South Africa. They took us at our First Hotel, Second day we were taken to Domestic Airport and sent to Cochin. All the tickets and bookings were done by them.
At Cochin we met his Driver Raheev with Air Con car and taken us new places every day with new hotels every day. We have requested 4 star hotel, which was provided by them. Hotels with heavy Breakfast were provided by Hotel, only lunch and dinner was on our account. That 10 days trip was wonderful, and the driver really took lots of care of us.
We hearby request all of you for travelling to Kerala or any part in India, please contact Mr, Prabhu. He is a fantastic guy.

how is life in India? We came back yesterday and it took us some time to adjust again. Did some washing, slept early. I would like to thank you once again for an amazing trip through your country and also for the fact that mr. Shankar was waiting for us at the airport two days ago. We decided not to go into the city anymore, because we were already tired of all the travelling and the heat, but we really appreciated that he was standing there.
Today I will take a look at your website to see which tours we are going to put on ours (we will also mention that we can also make custom made tours). As soon as we have decided on the tours, we have to know prices, so I will ask you then. first we also have to think about how we are going to put in on our website, because everything is now tours in Africa. We will change our homepage probably completely.
I will let you know asap when we decided on the tours. We will make a difference in price for a budget tour and an more luxury tour.

Yes, we are back home, safe and sound, after the Fantastic trip, that you organised for us!!
The driver that we had, Goppy, was excellent and nothing was too much for him! He was a fantastic driver under quite Hair-raising situations. He was also very knowledgeable, and was able to assist us in many ways. We are really very satisfied with our whole trip and the one small problem that we had with one of the hotels was very well resolved. The car that I was worried about, was very good and so were all the local guides.
All in all we had a really excellent trip and we were so sorry to have to leave India after our 19 day trip, which by the way, did not tire us!!
We are now thinking about Nepal Tibet and Kashmir for next year, so keep it in mind and see what you can organise for us!!!

Thanks for your message. You beat me to it! Our return journey went smoothly and we stayed over with our son who lives in Brighton, about 30 minutes drive from London Gatwick airport. Back home now we are all agreed that, thanks to you, it was a wonderful holiday. The itinerary proved to be exactly right and having completed it we wouldn't change anything.
Davinder Singh was not only an excellent driver but he attended to all our needs outside the hotels. He was always smartly turned out and kept his car immaculately clean. Polite and with a well developed sense of humour we enjoyed our conversations with him.
We were impressed with the Toyota Innova and it fitted our requirements perfectly. It provided plenty of room and was most comfortable. Thank you for that recommendation. The unseasonably high March temperatures proved to be quite tolerable whilst we were walking around but we were thankful of the a/c in our rooms and in the car.
The hotels were a wonderful mix of old and new. Sometimes we were the only guests. By contrast the Hotel Jagat Niwas Palace at Udaipur was full when we arrived. Our standard room proved to be very small and with very low doorways, really only fit to be a single room. However, we were able to get a free upgrade to a much larger room for the second and third nights. The hotel enjoys a great location with a lovely roof dining terrace and view across the lake to the Lake Palace Hotel.
I shall not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who wants to do a tour in India.

As you can tell from the time, I am still on Delhi time and have been up for hours….but that is not all bad because I came back to a million “things to do.” That’s also the reason that I have not emailed---I am either falling asleep or in a hectic state. Nevertheless, I am telling everyone what a wonderful trip I had….and I did, thanks to you and all your many assistants and agents. Suzanne and I were most pleased. We were particularly happy with Sonu our driver. He never failed to be helpful, thoughtful and in a good humor, despite the traffic and long drives. It was also so thoughtful and wonderful of you to not only provide us with such a good driver, but also a brand new car. I also wanted to tell you that all of our guides were good, but particularly knowledgeable and helpful were the guides in Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur. Only 2 remarks (but not your fault), the Fort Rajawada hotel is more to consider like a hotel for tour operator big group than individual traveler, maybe give an other suggestion in Jaisalmer. The other remark is about the devi garh hotel in Udaipur. This hotel is fantastic but we were disturbed by the fact that the reception of this hotel seems to give at first a suite who was a category lower (palace suite in place of aravelli suite) than booked. Fortunately I ask to move due to the fact that in this first room there was a bees nest up a window. The final room was fantastic. Maybe the suggestion is to visit 2 rooms of the same category before to choose one, I think that with this category of hotel, this kind of feeling doesn’t have to exist.
Special mention for raas hotel and mihirgarh and finally for devigarh too (with the restriction upper).

I just come back this march 21 2010 from INDIA.
To organize our travel, we had a lot of possibilities: belgian or european travel agencies (and tour operator) or a local travel agency.
What to do? We compare a lot of prices, suggestions, ability to answer to our questions promptly and finally we opted for an indian travel agency in DELHI:
DIVINE VOYAGES PVT. LTD. e mail: divinevoyages@vsnl.net.
We choose a private travel by car with driver and local guide. All was perfect. The director: Mr Prabhu follow all steps of our travel, give us his cell phone number, call a few times to be sure that all was ok. His driver was safe and really available. All the suggestions had a great value. A local representant welcomes us at each new hotel.
This travel was fantastic without problem or disapointment, really good value for the money.n

Yes, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Rajasthan visiting all the places except the weather was a little bit too hot than wat we expected.

I have been extremely busy since I came back to U.K. especially with my mother not been very well again. However, I have been keeping in mind to reply to you.
First and foremost I would like to query whether you received the tie I have left for you with the representative in Madras?
We had a very pleasant and memorable holiday in India. The pickup from the airport and the send off was perfect and well timed and it was greatly appreciated. We had a successful trip all the way through, well planned and executed.We have seen and passed through many places within a short stay. The extra trip by Mohan through scenaries from Trichy to Kerala was very much appreciated by all of us.
The hotel accomodations were very good, except for the one in Bangalore, could have been better. However, Jenny's Residency in Trichy was the best, and we met a polite manager as well. When I visit Trichy next time I will definitely stay at this hotel and for a longer time.
Finally and more crucially Dharshan Shaumya and myself would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mohan, the chauffeur who was not only a brilliant driver but also very trustworthy, kind and considerate and made us feel very relaxed all through the trip.
I hope I shall make another trip to India soon.

I returned on Sunday after a delay in bangalore
we had a great time, especially in kerala
we will be returning to India again next Jan and certianly will call to make arrangements- probably this time either going to tamil nadu and possibly calcutta or kashmir.
In terms of feedback- we were very pleased with the hotels- especially the spice island hotel, coconut lagoon lodge and the bunting boatyards.The back waters trip was a highlight, Fort agruda was ideal. The driver in Kerala was very good- thoughtful, considerate, on time, informative, warm and friendly. HIs boss also was very thoughtful and through the week was checking up on us to make sure all was going well, fantastic.

It’s not very often that one can report a 10 out of 10 when one hires a service in a foreign land, because there will usually be a misunderstanding over some (perhaps small) issue or other. But in this case, I am so delighted to report back to you, NOT A SINGLE MISHAP, ANWHERE, ANYTIME!!!!!
Prabhu, it was the most special trip I have done in ages, not only because India IS, as the tourism department says, such an INCREDIBLE country, but also due to your first class service.
Not a single driver or guide arrived late. Not one reneged on their duty. Each and every one of them was informative and delightful. We did not on any occasion feel that we were treated with anything but the highest degree of respect and service.
Regarding you personally, from the moment we first spoke on the phone, I felt comfortable and secure, as if I’d known you for years. Your regular calls to us every few days whilst in India, made us feel great and confident that you had our arrangements under control.
Once again, I cannot thank you enough for all your services. I hope this leaves you in no doubt that I will be recommending your service to anyone I know who is headed your way, and that includes us, because we will be coming back, that’s for sure!

It has been a long time since I have contacted you but we haven'tforgotten you. How can we? When you gave us such a wonderful time while we were in India. We are all ok here in UK and as the winter is drawing nearer, it has started to get cold. But this time, we are escaping to Australia at the end of November up to the middle of December for 3 weeks to attend my niece's wedding.

Thank you for arranging the tour for us. Everything went smoothly. Mr Jain was very helpful in sorting out some issues we had with the Marina on the first night and the driver and vehicle were excellent. The only problem we had was with the Marina which was as bad as we had been led to believe by the feedback we read on the Internet.
At the Holiday Inn Jaipur there was a problem with one of the rooms on the first night and they agreed to charge us only for one room plus 2 extra beds on the first night, and for both rooms on the second night. They said they would invoice you a reduced amount accordingly. Please credit this back when you get their invoice.

Just a quick note to report back that our holiday was very successful, and to thank you for your arrangements which all went very smoothly - even the monsson weather was kind to us!
The Divine Voyagers representative and driver met us as planned at Kochi Airport and were very efficient. Brunton Boatyard Hotel was excellent and we wished we could have stayed there another night - very stylish. The house boat was a great place to relax and watch the world paddle by. We thought Munnar was beautiful and saw the Nilgiri Thar and Nilgiri Pipit in the Erivakalam park and we also saw the ruins of the first hotel you planned to put us in. The alternative Blackberry Hills was was good with big views across the valley though you had to be quite fit to walk up and down the hillside for meals!
We enjoyed Kodai, Coonoor and Ootacamund, but we missed the big views from these because of clouds.
Then we met up with friends in Nagarahole and found some good wildlife at the very well run Kabini River Lodge.
With all that and a great time in Sri Lanka beforehand, we feel very priveledged and fortunate to have had such great experiences and thank you for your part in making this possible.
If you ever visit Marlborough it would be good to meet, but meanwhile,

I am writing to thank you for the excellent organisation of our recent 33 day holiday in India. Four of us wanting a special experience for the celebration of our 60th birthdays, decided India was the place we wanted to visit and following a great deal of research and negotiation we had a most memorable trip.
Essential to the trip being a success was the excellent organisation and coordination of our many modes of transport, tours and accommodation in the 15 cities we visited. We had no problems at all with any of our travel connections and were greeted and farewelled by our very friendly and knowledgeable local travel agents, guides and drivers in each city. We travelled by planes, day and overnight trains, motor vehicles, elephants, camels and boats all over India and not a single hiccup.
The food was excellent and we ate Indian food for the entire trip. It was a gourmet’s delight. We celebrated our collective birthdays at the superb Indigo Restaurant in Mumbai, booked from Sydney as we wanted to ensure we were able to get a table in the very trendy restaurant. It was a perfect evening for rooftop dining and we had a wonderful night, dressed in our beautiful Indian silk clothes.
Our special accommodation treat was two nights in the Lake Palace, Udaipur where we enjoyed all the luxury it could offer. Our 10 days in Rajasthan we travelled by car with an excellent driver, who later looked after us in Delhi. There was a lot of driving to do with approximately 300km between cities with the occasional stop for photo opportunities, sightseeing and a roadside restaurant. We purchased beautiful antique textiles and jewellery and experienced the enthusiasm and friendliness of the people selling.
Throughout our journey we met many local people and they were always friendly and willing to tell us about themselves. On our train journey to Shimla we shared the small carriage with a family, a couple on their honeymoon and the enthusiasm and excitement was an absolute delight.
Homeward bound we had very full bags and were taking home a great deal of India, as well as many fond memories of the wonderful people we had met along the way, and of course the excellent tour companies, tour guides and drivers who guided us along our way.

I promised to give you a bit more background about Prabhu.
My association with him commenced about 5 years ago when my wife and I booked a week on Palace on Wheels in Rajasthan purely at random online. Not only did he get the best deal on the Train, he also provided us with hotel accommodation for two days either side of the week in Delhi plus a guide and the use of a chauffer driven Ambassador car.
His service was faultless and from then on we were 'hooked'
Last year, an eclectic group of friends thought it would be a good idea to go to Kerala. Everyone seemed to have a slightly different agenda, but finally we agreed on a series of hotels throuhgout Kerala to stay at. Prices were obtained for the accommodation direct, which seemed OK I then offered to approach Prabhu to see whether he could organise the whole trip including collection from and delivery to airport and connections between the the various places we wanted to stay at.
Prabhu came back with a complete itinerary that again was cheaper than the price we had obtained direct just for the accommodation.
He flew down from Delhi to Cochin to greet us on our fragmented arrival in Kerala to ensure that everyone was happy with his arrangements - he even treated us to our first meal at Bruntons Boatyard Hotel
All the arrangements were impeccable, - he has a very strong network of drivers and guides and he always phoned in whenever a transfer was being made to check that everyone was happy.
By the end of our holiday the more sceptical among our group were completely 'sold' on him.
You will have gathered that I have no hesitation in recommending Prabhu to you - what is more, he is a charming Indian gentleman, and I shall look forward to renewing our friendship on our next trip to India

We're home and in between unpacking, washing etc. while the memories are fresh just wanted to thank you and your Company for our wonderful trip - all so well organised, no slip ups at all and of course what can I say about "our special driver". Besides his great expertise at the wheel he was great company - our so called "free time" never seemed to happen as we were off on shopping of our choice, rick-shaw rides through the busy markets (Jaipur), searching for sports shops for Max ( yes, he bought 4 cricket bats!!) decking out Trevor with a new wardrobe ! - I could go on and on ! So many highlights - the Palace Hotels ( we were upgraded to de-luxe suites at The Samode Palace Hotel); You were apprehensive about The Imperial in Agra -we loved it ! Old fashioned, regal and a lovely lawn.
We loved Calcutta & Darjeeling even more ! So pleased we had that interlude. The Windamere is unbelievable - great people, great food, great New Years Eve party - met an Australian couple who have been going to the Windamere for 17 years for Christmas and New Year and onto Goa for 3 months.
Funnily in Calcutta they always stay at The Fairlawn - Amanda and I took a taxi there as it was an option for us at the time - we were curious ! Can see why you steered us away !!
And we remember our experience at The Deogarth - we met The Marajah ( he even invited us to view his cars on the way out) and his son The Prince joined us on the balcony for drinks the evening before - such charming people.

OUR TRIP TO KERALA FOR 10 DAYS,
We had above tour in April, first all the family thought that its Summer months, and it will be very hot, but after few internets, we came along Prabhu Kumar, of his address is as under. Firstly after begging him, he never took any upfront money as deposit from us, as we only paid on the way. After reaching Mumbai, our transport was waiting for us say it was pass midnight, as we arrived from South Africa. They took us at our First Hotel, Second day we were taken to Domestic Airport and sent to Cochin. All the tickets and bookings were done by them.
At Cochin we met his Driver Raheev with Air Con car and taken us new places every day with new hotels every day. We have requested 4 star hotel, which was provided by them. Hotels with heavy Breakfast were provided by Hotel, only lunch and dinner was on our account. That 10 days trip was wonderful, and the driver really took lots of care of us.

The driver that we had, Goppy, was excellent and nothing was too much for him! He was a fantastic driver under quite Hair-raising situations. We are really very satisfied with our whole trip and the one small problem that we had with one of the hotels was very well resolved. The car that I was worried about, was very good and so were all the local guides.
All in all we had a really excellent trip and we were so sorry to have to leave India after our 19 day trip, which by the way, did not tire us!!

Thanks for your message. You beat me to it! Our return journey went smoothly and we stayed over with our son who lives in Brighton, about 30 minutes drive from London Gatwick airport. Back home now we are all agreed that, thanks to you, it was a wonderful holiday. The itinerary proved to be exactly right and having completed it we wouldn't change anything.
Davinder Singh was not only an excellent driver but he attended to all our needs outside the hotels. He was always smartly turned out and kept his car immaculately clean. Polite and with a well developed sense of humour we enjoyed our conversations with him.
We were impressed with the Toyota Innova and it fitted our requirements perfectly. It provided plenty of room and was most comfortable. Thank you for that recommendation. The unseasonably high March temperatures proved to be quite tolerable whilst we were walking around but we were thankful of the a/c in our rooms and in the car.
The hotels were a wonderful mix of old and new. Sometimes we were the only guests. By contrast the Hotel Jagat Niwas Palace at Udaipur was full when we arrived. Our standard room proved to be very small and with very low doorways, really only fit to be a single room. However, we were able to get a free upgrade to a much larger room for the second and third nights. The hotel enjoys a great location with a lovely roof dining terrace and view across the lake to the Lake Palace Hotel.
I shall not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who wants to do a tour in India.

Only 2 remarks (but not your fault), the Fort Rajawada hotel is more to consider like a hotel for tour operator big group than individual traveler, maybe give an other suggestion in Jaisalmer. The other remark is about the devi garh hotel in Udaipur. This hotel is fantastic but we were disturbed by the fact that the reception of this hotel seems to give at first a suite who was a category lower (palace suite in place of aravelli suite) than booked. Fortunately I ask to move due to the fact that in this first room there was a bees nest up a window. The final room was fantastic. Maybe the suggestion is to visit 2 rooms of the same category before to choose one, I think that with this category of hotel, this kind of feeling doesn’t have to exist.
Special mention for raas hotel and mihirgarh and finally for devigarh too (with the restriction upper).

I just come back this march 21 2010 from INDIA.
To organize our travel, we had a lot of possibilities: belgian or european travel agencies (and tour operator) or a local travel agency.
What to do? We compare a lot of prices, suggestions, ability to answer to our questions promptly and finally we opted for an indian travel agency in DELHI:

We choose a private travel by car with driver and local guide. All was perfect. The director: Mr Prabhu follow all steps of our travel, give us his cell phone number, call a few times to be sure that all was ok. His driver was safe and really available. All the suggestions had a great value. A local representant welcomes us at each new hotel.
This travel was fantastic without problem or disapointment, really good value for the money.n

I have been extremely busy since I came back to U.K. especially with my mother not been very well again. However, I have been keeping in mind to reply to you.
First and foremost I would like to query whether you received the tie I have left for you with the representative in Madras?
We had a very pleasant and memorable holiday in India. The pickup from the airport and the send off was perfect and well timed and it was greatly appreciated. We had a successful trip all the way through, well planned and executed.We have seen and passed through many places within a short stay. The extra trip by Mohan through scenaries from Trichy to Kerala was very much appreciated by all of us.
The hotel accomodations were very good, except for the one in Bangalore, could have been better. However, Jenny's Residency in Trichy was the best, and we met a polite manager as well. When I visit Trichy next time I will definitely stay at this hotel and for a longer time.
Finally and more crucially Dharshan Shaumya and myself would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mohan, the chauffeur who was not only a brilliant driver but also very trustworthy, kind and considerate and made us feel very relaxed all through the trip.

we had a great time, especially in kerala
we will be returning to India again next Jan and certianly will call to make arrangements- probably this time either going to tamil nadu and possibly calcutta or kashmir.
In terms of feedback- we were very pleased with the hotels- especially the spice island hotel, coconut lagoon lodge and the bunting boatyards.The back waters trip was a highlight, Fort agruda was ideal. It’s not very often that one can report a 10 out of 10 when one hires a service in a foreign land, because there will usually be a misunderstanding over some (perhaps small) issue or other. But in this case, I am so delighted to report back to you, NOT A SINGLE MISHAP, ANWHERE, ANYTIME!!!!!
Prabhu, it was the most special trip I have done in ages, not only because India IS, as the tourism department says, such an INCREDIBLE country, but also due to your first class service.
Not a single driver or guide arrived late. Not one reneged on their duty. Each and every one of them was informative and delightful. We did not on any occasion feel that we were treated with anything but the highest degree of respect and service.
Regarding you personally, from the moment we first spoke on the phone, I felt comfortable and secure, as if I’d known you for years. Your regular calls to us every few days whilst in India, made us feel great and confident that you had our arrangements under control.

Thank you for arranging the tour for us. Everything went smoothly. Mr Jain was very helpful in sorting out some issues we had with the Marina on the first night and the driver and vehicle were excellent. The only problem we had was with the Marina which was as bad as we had been led to believe by the feedback we read on the Internet.
At the Holiday Inn Jaipur there was a problem with one of the rooms on the first night and they agreed to charge us only for one room plus 2 extra beds on the first night, and for both rooms on the second night. They said they would invoice you a reduced amount accordingly. Please credit this back when you get their invoice.

Just a quick note to report back that our holiday was very successful, and to thank you for your arrangements which all went very smoothly - even the monsson weather was kind to us!
The Divine Voyagers representative and driver met us as planned at Kochi Airport and were very efficient. Brunton Boatyard Hotel was excellent and we wished we could have stayed there another night - very stylish. The house boat was a great place to relax and watch the world paddle by. We thought Munnar was beautiful and saw the Nilgiri Thar and Nilgiri Pipit in the Erivakalam park and we also saw the ruins of the first hotel you planned to put us in. The alternative Blackberry Hills was was good with big views across the valley though you had to be quite fit to walk up and down the hillside for meals!
We enjoyed Kodai, Coonoor and Ootacamund, but we missed the big views from these because of clouds.
Then we met up with friends in Nagarahole and found some good wildlife at the very well run Kabini River Lodge.
With all that and a great time in Sri Lanka beforehand, we feel very priveledged and fortunate to have had such great experiences and thank you for your part in making this possible.
If you ever visit Marlborough it would be good to meet, but meanwhile,

We couldn’t be more pleased with how everything worked out! Jill & I were very pleased with all of the services that you provided. Our drivers and guides were very helpful. In particular we appreciated guides Prem Singh in New Delhi, Davendra in Jaipur, Mukul in Varanasi, and Priya in Amristar, and of course our driver from New Delhi to Agra and Jaipur, Kartar. We were also very pleased with the other representatives from your company and its related affiliates in the cities that we visited who either met us at the airports or helped us get settled in at our hotels. In particular in this regard, we were very pleased with Harish Singh who stayed with us for almost 4 hours at the airport in Varanasi when our flight to Khajuraho was delayed. And of course we can’t say enough about Mr. Jain in New Delhi, who helped us in every way possible.

Anyway regarding the trip thank you very much for organising it. The overall organisation was very good. 1. It was well organised and we appreciate the help given by Mr Jan, in meeting us at the hotel in Delhi and briefing us, then taking us to the airport to board the local flights and also collecting us from the airport on our arrival from Varanasi. Please thank him for his very courteous and efficient service.
2. The two drivers provided for both trips, the trip to Agra and also the trip from Patna to Varanasi were very good. They were very careful drivers and we enjoyed their company
3. The guides provided at different sites were very good too. Oveall we were very happy with the tour and would certainly recommend your service to others. We certainly would like to come back again. Apart from the spiritual aspect of the tour, we really enjoyed the historical aspect too. India is a marvelous country and I think it has a lot to offer to the tourist.

I am writing to thank you for the excellent organisation of our recent 33 day holiday in India. Four of us wanting a special experience for the celebration of our 60th birthdays, decided India was the place we wanted to visit and following a great deal of research and negotiation we had a most memorable trip.
Essential to the trip being a success was the excellent organisation and coordination of our many modes of transport, tours and accommodation in the 15 cities we visited. We had no problems at all with any of our travel connections and were greeted and farewelled by our very friendly and knowledgeable local travel agents, guides and drivers in each city. We travelled by planes, day and overnight trains, motor vehicles, elephants, camels and boats all over India and not a single hiccup.
The food was excellent and we ate Indian food for the entire trip. It was a gourmet’s delight. We celebrated our collective birthdays at the superb Indigo Restaurant in Mumbai, booked from Sydney as we wanted to ensure we were able to get a table in the very trendy restaurant. It was a perfect evening for rooftop dining and we had a wonderful night, dressed in our beautiful Indian silk clothes.
Our special accommodation treat was two nights in the Lake Palace, Udaipur where we enjoyed all the luxury it could offer. Our 10 days in Rajasthan we travelled by car with an excellent driver, who later looked after us in Delhi. There was a lot of driving to do with approximately 300km between cities with the occasional stop for photo opportunities, sightseeing and a roadside restaurant. We purchased beautiful antique textiles and jewellery and experienced the enthusiasm and friendliness of the people selling.
Throughout our journey we met many local people and they were always friendly and willing to tell us about themselves. On our train journey to Shimla we shared the small carriage with a family, a couple on their honeymoon and the enthusiasm and excitement was an absolute delight.
Homeward bound we had very full bags and were taking home a great deal of India, as well as many fond memories of the wonderful people we had met along the way, and of course the excellent tour companies, tour guides and drivers who guided us along our way.
Thank you for making our holiday a most enjoyable and memorable time.

I promised to give you a bit more background about Prabhu.
My association with him commenced about 5 years ago when my wife and I booked a week on Palace on Wheels in Rajasthan purely at random online. Not only did he get the best deal on the Train, he also provided us with hotel accommodation for two days either side of the week in Delhi plus a guide and the use of a chauffer driven Ambassador car.
His service was faultless and from then on we were 'hooked'
Last year, an eclectic group of friends thought it would be a good idea to go to Kerala. Everyone seemed to have a slightly different agenda, but finally we agreed on a series of hotels throuhgout Kerala to stay at. Prices were obtained for the accommodation direct, which seemed OK I then offered to approach Prabhu to see whether he could organise the whole trip including collection from and delivery to airport and connections between the the various places we wanted to stay at.
Prabhu came back with a complete itinerary that again was cheaper than the price we had obtained direct just for the accommodation.
He flew down from Delhi to Cochin to greet us on our fragmented arrival in Kerala to ensure that everyone was happy with his arrangements - he even treated us to our first meal at Bruntons Boatyard Hotel
All the arrangements were impeccable, - he has a very strong network of drivers and guides and he always phoned in whenever a transfer was being made to check that everyone was happy.
By the end of our holiday the more sceptical among our group were completely 'sold' on him.
You will have gathered that I have no hesitation in recommending Prabhu to you - what is more, he is a charming Indian gentleman, and I shall look forward to renewing our friendship on our next trip to India

We're home and in between unpacking, washing etc. while the memories are fresh just wanted to thank you and your Company for our wonderful trip - all so well organised, no slip ups at all and of course what can I say about "our special driver". Besides his great expertise at the wheel he was great company - our so called "free time" never seemed to happen as we were off on shopping of our choice, rick-shaw rides through the busy markets (Jaipur), searching for sports shops for Max ( yes, he bought 4 cricket bats!!) decking out Trevor with a new wardrobe ! - I could go on and on ! So many highlights - the Palace Hotels ( we were upgraded to de-luxe suites at The Samode Palace Hotel); You were apprehensive about The Imperial in Agra -we loved it ! Old fashioned, regal and a lovely lawn.
We loved Calcutta & Darjeeling even more ! So pleased we had that interlude. The Windamere is unbelievable - great people, great food, great New Years Eve party - met an Australian couple who have been going to the Windamere for 17 years for Christmas and New Year and onto Goa for 3 months.
Funnily in Calcutta they always stay at The Fairlawn - Amanda and I took a taxi there as it was an option for us at the time - we were curious ! Can see why you steered us away !!
And we remember our experience at The Deogarth - we met The Marajah ( he even invited us to view his cars on the way out) and his son The Prince joined us on the balcony for drinks the evening before - such charming people.
Hi, Manjit - we missed you after Agra - somehow the "others" didn't measure up !
