Day 01 : Delhi
On arrival meet and assist at the airport and transfer to pre booked hotel for overnight stay. ( incase if flight is arriving at day time , sight seeing & meals will be provided as per that.) Delhi : India’s capital & a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient & the modern. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind . The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British & the Moghuls respectively. So, wherever the visitor goes, he will invariably confront the citys’ past.

Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast, full day city tour of old & modern capital of India. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658 ; visit Red Fort ( from out side only, as it is not permitted to visit from inside due to security reason ), which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648 ; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament. Visit Humayun’s Tomb : built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar. The tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple (BirlaMandir). Over Night at Hotel.

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra
After breakfast, transfer to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in at Hotel. Afternoon, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structues; Itmad-ud- daulah, which was contructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Contruction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Overnight stay at Agra.

Day 04 : Agra - Gwalior
After breakfast drive to Gwalior. Arrival and check into Hotel. Gwalior : where a rich cultural tradition has been interwoven into the fabric of modern life. Where a princely past lives on in great palaces and their museums. Where a multitude of images merge and mix to present to the visitor a city of enduring greatness. After lunch sight seeing of Gwalior, visit: The Fort - Standing on a steep mass of sandstone, Gwalior Fort dominates the city and is its most magnificent monument. Gujri Mahal- Within the fort are some marvels of medieval architecture. The 15th century Gujari Mahal is a monument to the love of Raja Mansingh Tomar for his Gujar queen, Mrignayani. Man Mandir Palace- Man Mandir Palace, built between 1486 and 1517. Teli ka Mandir - The Teli ka Mandir is a 9th century edifice, towering at 100 ft high. This is a Pratihara Vishnu temple of a unique blending of architectural styles. Sas-Bahu-ka-Mandir, built in 11th century. Jai Vilas Palace - A splendour of a different kind exists in the Jai Vilas Palace, current residence of the Scindia family. Some 35 rooms have been made into the Scindia Museum, and in these rooms, so evocative of a regal lifestyle, the past comes alive.

Day 05 : Gwalior - Orchha
After breakfast drive to Orchha. Arrival and check inn to hotel. Orchha- Orchha was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap, who chose this stretch of land along the Betwa river as an ideal site for his capital. of the succeeding rulers, the most notable was Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo who built the exquisite Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris. From here the view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs is spectacular. After lunch sight seeing of

Orchha, visit –
Jehangir Mahal - Built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in the 17th century to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha. Raj Mahal - Situated to the right of the quadrangle, this palace was built in the 17th century by Madhukar Shah, the deeply religious predecessor of Bir Singh Ju Deo. Rai Parveen Mahal - Poetess and musician, Rai Parveen was the beautiful paramour of Raja Indramani (1672- 76) and was sent to Delhi on the orders of the Emperor Akbar, who was captivated by her. Chaturbhuj Temple - Built upon a massive stone platform and reached by a steep flight of steps, the temple was specially constructed to enshrine the image of Rama that remained in the Ram Raja Temple. Laxminarayan Temple - A flagstone path links this temple with the Ram Raja Temple. The style is an interesting synthesis of fort and temple moulds. The interiors contain the most exquisite of Orchha's wall paintings. Phool Bagh - Laid out as a formal garden, this complex testifies to the refined aesthetic qualities of the Bundelas. Sunder Mahal - This small palace, almost in ruins today is still a place of pilgrimage for muslims. Chhatris (Cenotaphs) - There are 14 Chhatris or Memorials to the rulers of Orchha, grouped along the Kanchan Ghat of the river Betwa. Over night at Hotel.

Day 06 : Orchha - Khajuraho
After breakfast drive to Khajuraho. Arrival and check inn to Hotel. Khajuraho – there is question about Khajuraho - Why did the Chandelas choose Khajuraho or Khajirvahila- garden of dates, as it was known then - as the site for their stupendous creations? Even in those days it was no more than a small village. It is possible given the eclectic patronage of the Chandelas and the wide variety of beliefs represented in the temples, that they had the concept of forming a seat of religion and learning at Khajuraho. It is possible that the Chandelas were also believers in the powers of Tantrism; the cult which believes that the gratification of earthly desires is a step closer to the attainment of the infinite. After lunch sight seeing of Khajuraho visit: Temples ( Eastern, Western & southern ), in evening light & sound show. - Over night at Hotel.

Day 07 : Khajuraho - Jabalpur
After breakfast drive to Jabalpur, arrival and check inn to hotel. Jabalpur – It was a pleasure resort and capital of the Gond Kings during the 12th century, Jabalpur was later the seat of the Kalchuri dynasty. The Marathas held sway over Jabalpur until 1817, when the British wrested it from them and left their impression on the spacious cantonment with its colonial residences and barracks. Today Jabalpur is an important administrative centre, abustle with commercial activity. PM sight seeing of Jabalpur, visit: Madan Mahal Fort – It was built by the Gond ruler, Raja Madan Shah, in 1116 atop a rocky hill, the fort dominates the skyline and provides a panoramic view of the town and the country side around it. Sangram Sagar and Bajnamath - These medieval constructions were built by the famous Gond King, Sangram Shah, between 1480-1540. Rani Durgavati Memorial and Museum - Dedicated to the memory of the great Queen Durgavati, it is her memorial and museum which houses a fine collection of sculptures, inscriptions and prehistoric relics. Over night at Hotel.

Day 08 : Jabalpur – Bhedaghat
After breakfast excursion to Bhedaghat and visit , Marble Rocks - The Marble Rocks have recently been floodlit, adding a new dimension to their splendor. Dhuandhar Falls
The Narmada, making its way through the marble rocks, narrows down and then plunges in a waterfall known as Dhuandhar or Smoke Cascade. Soapstone Artifacts- The soapstone revealed by the Narmada provides occupation to families of carvers of gods and goddesses, lingas, crosses, madonnas, ashtrays and trinket boxes. Over night at hotel.

Day 09 : Bhedaghat – Sanchi
After breakfast drive to Sanchi, arrival and check inn to hotel. Sanchi - Sanchi is known for its Stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from the 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D. evening time free at leisure. Over night at Hotel.

Day 10 : Sanchi – Bhopal
After breakfast sight seeing of Sanchi, visit, Great Stupa No. 1 - The oldest stone structure in India. 36.5 mt in diameter and 16.4 mt high, with a massive hemispherical dome, the stupa stands in eternal majesty, the paved procession path around it worn smooth by centuries of pilgrims. The Eastern Gateway, The Western Gateway , The Northern Gateway, The Southern Gateway, Stupa No. 2, Stupa No. 3, The Ashoka Pillar, The Buddhist Vihara, The Great Bowl, The Gupta Temple & The Museum. After lunch drive to Bhopal. Arrival and check inn to Hotel. Bhopal - The capital of Madhya Pradesh combines scenic beauty, historicity and modern urban planning. It is situated on the site of an 11th century city, Bhojapal, founded by Raja Bhoja. PM sight seeing of Bhopal visit, Jama Masjid, Moti Masjid, Shaukat Mahal and Sadar Manzil, Taj-ul-Masajid,
Gohar Mahal & Bharat Bhawan. Over night at hotel.

Day 11: Bhopal – Bhimbetka – Bhopal
After breakfast excursion to Bhimbetka on the way visit Bhjpur - Founded by the legendary Parmar King of Dhar, Raja Bhoj (1010-1053), and named after him, Bhojpur, 28 km from Bhopal, is renowned for the remains of its magnificent Shiva temple and Cyclopean dam. See the Bhojeshwar Temple. Continue drive to Bhimbetka - Surrounded by the northern fringe of the Vindhyan ranges, Bhimbetka lies 46 km South of Bhopal. In this rocky terrain of dense forest and craggy cliffs, over 600 rock shelters belonging to the Neolithic age were recently discovered. Here, in vivid panoramic detail, paintings in over 500 caves depict the life of the pre-historic cave-dwellers making the Bhimbetka group an archaeological treasure, an invaluable chronicle in the history of man. After lunch visit - The superimposition of paintings shows that the same canvas was used by different people at different times. The drawings and paintings can be classified under seven different periods: Period I - (Upper Paleolithic), Period II - (Mesolithic), Period III - (Chaleolithic), Period IV & V - (Early History) & Period VI & VII - (Medieval).
Back to Bhopal and over night at Hotel.

Day 12 : Bhopal – Ujjain
After breakfast drive to Ujjain, arrival and check inn to Hotel. Ujjain - The belief in the sacredness of Shipra river, has its origins in the ancient Hindu mythological tale of churning of the Ocean by the Gods and the Demons, with Vasuki, the serpent as the rope. The ocean bed first yielded fourteen gems, then Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth, and finally the coveted vessel of Nectar. PM sight seeing of Ujjain, visit - Mahakaleshwar

Day 13 : Ujjain – Indore – Mandu
After breakfast drive to Mandu on the way visit , Indore - The history of Indore is inseparable from the history of the Holkar State. The founder of the House of Holkars was Malhar Rao Holkar, born in 1693 AD., see the place – Rajwada, Chhatris etc…

After lunch drive to Mandu. Arrival and check inn to Hotel. Mandu – Mandu situated at an altitude of 2,000 feet, Mandu, with its natural defenses, was originally the fort capital of the Parmar rulers of Malwa. Over night at Hotel.

Day 14 : Mandu
After breakfast full day sight seeing of Mandu and visit , The Royal Enclave (Jahaz Mahal) - This 120 mt long "ship palace" built between the two artificial lakes, Munj Talao and Kapur Talao is an elegant two storied palace. Probably it was built by Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din-Khilji for his large harem. Hindola Mahal, Rewa Kund Group (Rewa Kund) - A reservoir, built by Baz Bahadur with an aqueduct to provide Roopmati's palace with water. Baz Bahadur's Palace - Built by Baz Bahadur in the early 16th century. Roopmati's Pavilion - The pavilion was originally built as an army observation post. From its hilltop perch. Day 15 : Mandu – Maheshwar
After breakfast drive to Maheshwar. Arrival and check inn to hotel. Maheshwar - Maheshwar was a glorious city at the dawn of Indian civilization when it was Mahishmati, capital of king Kartivarjun. This temple town on the banks of the river Narmada finds mention in the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata. Revived to its ancient position of importance by the Holkar queen Rani Ahilyabai of Indore. Maheshwar's temples and mighty fort-complex stand in quiet beauty, mirrored in the river below. PM sight seeing of Maheshwar, visit, Rajgaddi and Rajwada - A life-size statue of Rani Ahilyabai sits on a throne in the Rajgaddi within the fort complex. Temples - the many-tiered temples of Maheshwar are distinguished by their carved overhanging balconies and their intricately worked doorways. Kaleshwar, Rajarajeshwara, Vithaleshwara and Ahileshwar are the temples to be seen. Over night at Hotel.

Day 16: Maheshwar – Omkareshwar
After breakfast drive to Onkareshwar. Arrival and check into Hotel. Omkareshwar - Omkareshwar, the sacred island, shaped like the holiest of all Hindu symbols, 'Om', has drawn to it hundreds of generations of pilgrims. Here, at the confluence of the rivers Narmada and Kaveri, the devout gather to kneel before the Jyotirlinga (one of the twelve throughout India) at the temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata. PM sight seeing of Omkareshwar visit, Shri Omkar Mandhata - The temple stands on a one mile long, half mile wide island formed by the fork of the Narmada. Siddhanath Temple - A fine example of early medieval Brahminic architecture.

Day 17 : Omkareshwar - Ajanta – Aurangabad
After breakfast drive to Aurangabad on the way visit Ajanta - Ajanta is world's greatest historical monument recognized by UNESCO located just near to Jalgaon city of Maharashtra, India. After lunch you can explore Ajanta cave or continued drive to Aurangabad. Arrival and check inn to Hotel. Over night at hotel.

Day 18 : Auragabad –Ellora – Aurangabad
After breakfast Am excursion to Allora - Spanning a period of about 600 years between the 5 th and 11 th century AD, the earliest excavation here is of the Dhumar Lena (Cave 29).The most imposing excavation is, without doubt, that of the magnificent Kailasa Temple (Cave 16) which is the largest monolithic structure in the world. Interestingly, Ellora, unlike the site of Ajanta, was never 'rediscovered'. Known as Verul in ancient times, it has continuously attracted pilgrims through the centuries to the present day.
Back to Aurangabad and over night at Hotel.

Day 19 : Aurangabad – Mumbai/ Delhi
After breakfast transfer to airport/railway station to board flight/train to Mumbai/ Delhi.
